Transfer study

Student transfer and reinstatement procedure!

In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 578 dated September 13, 2025 (Appendix No. 3 - Regulations), the processes of transferring students to other universities and resuming their studies are carried out in the following order.

Application deadline:

from January 10 to January 20 inclusive

Applications are accepted in the following order:

  • • through the electronic platform transfer.edu.uz;
  • • can also be adopted by regional working groups created by order of the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation.

Conditions for transferring to another university:

It is permitted to transfer from one higher educational institution to another to corresponding or related fields of study.

If there is no corresponding or related route in the given territory, the transfer to a non-related route is carried out in the following cases:

Due to marriage - when a student applies for transfer of studies to a higher educational institution in the region where the spouse permanently resides;

When changing the place of service of a civil servant - upon the recommendation of the head of the relevant ministry or agency, when applying for a transfer of studies by the employee's spouse or minor child.

Application procedure:

The application will be submitted through transfer.edu.uz.

The student enters their personal identification data and uploads the following documents:

  • • copies of documents substantiating the above circumstances (mentioned in paragraph 5);
  • • copy of the rating book, academic certificate, or transcript.

The student monitors the status of the application through their personal account.

The results of the transfer and restoration will be approved by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation and published on official websites.

Procedure for restoration (restoration):

Applications for reinstatement of students are also accepted twice a year:

  • • Autumn semester - from July 15 to August 5;
  • • Spring semester - from January 10 to January 20 inclusive.

The student appends the following to the application:

  • • copy of the rating book, academic certificate, or transcript;
  • • justification of the reasons for expulsion, if necessary.

Applications are also accepted by the relevant university in electronic form.

Important notes:

  • • Applications for reinstatement before the spring semester (i.e., transfer from the previous HEI with reinstatement) are not accepted and are not considered;
  • • Applications are submitted only between January 10 and 20;
  • • After the established deadline, the possibility of submitting an application is closed;
  • • Applications submitted with forged or incomplete documents are rejected.
