Required documents:

Basic doctoral, targeted basic doctoral, research intern, independent researcher (PhD):

  1. A brief biographical note.
  2. If not integrated through the electronic system, a copy of the master's degree diploma from a higher education institution or clinical residency completion certificate (for medical sciences), or a copy of the diploma of higher education (for specialized programs)*.
  3. Copies of published scientific works (at least 1 article and 2 theses).
  4. A reference from the workplace (for independent researchers).
  5. A national or equivalent international foreign language proficiency certificate (not mandatory for trainee-researchers and independent researchers).

All documents are prepared in pdf format and sent with registration through the Unified Electronic System for Coordinating Postgraduate Education (daraja.ilmiy.uz).

For doctoral studies, independent research doctoral studies (DSc):

  1. A brief biographical note.
  2. A copy of the diploma of higher education, Candidate of Science degree, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree, or an equivalent degree recognized in foreign countries*.
  3. A scientific report on the research topic and a detailed project plan of the doctoral dissertation for obtaining the Doctor of Science (DSc) degree (not mandatory for independent researchers (DSc)).
  4. Copies of published scientific works (at least 3 articles and 2 theses).
  5. A reference from the workplace (for independent researchers).
  6. A copy of the national or equivalent international foreign language proficiency certificate (not mandatory for independent researchers).

    7. * - Documents certifying education received abroad must be uploaded together with an official recognition certificate.

All documents are prepared in pdf format and sent with registration through the Unified Electronic System for Coordinating Postgraduate Education (daraja.ilmiy.uz).

Documents will be accepted until October 15, 2025.
