Our University continues to actively develop social initiatives aimed at environmental education. As part of this movement, students and teachers of our educational institution held a field event in one of the local schools to share their knowledge and experience on one of the most pressing topics of our time — water saving.

The event included two key formats: a master class and a webinar. Students together with teachers prepared interactive classes aimed at developing students ' conscious attitude to the use of water resources.

The master class began with a fascinating presentation, where the children learned about the importance of water in human life, its limitations as a resource and global problems associated with its use. Then the participants were given a practical task-to evaluate their own water consumption and find ways to optimize it. Thanks to the use of game elements and practical examples, students not only gained useful knowledge, but also were able to apply it in practice.

The webinar, which took place in the second half of the event, was aimed at high school students and teachers. The university's teachers spoke about modern technologies that help save water, such as rainwater collection systems, water reuse devices, and energy-efficient household appliances. Issues of legislative regulation in the field of water resources protection and the possibility of participation of every citizen in solving environmental problems were also discussed.

Special attention was paid to the formation of a culture of responsible consumption among schoolchildren. Teachers focused on simple but effective steps that everyone can take to reduce water consumption: turn off the tap while brushing your teeth, use a shower instead of a bath, and repair leaking taps in a timely manner.

The event aroused great interest among both schoolchildren and teachers. The participants asked a lot of questions, shared their ideas and already thought about how to implement the acquired knowledge in everyday life.

Such initiatives not only contribute to improving environmental literacy, but also strengthen the link between school and university, creating a platform for joint solution of important social problems. We hope that this experience will be a good start for further cooperation and inspire students to develop their environmental initiatives ((https://tiiame.uz/news?id=5470)
