Inclusive Support for Students with Disabilities at TIIAME National Research University
At TIIAME National Research University, building an inclusive and
supportive academic environment is one of the institution's core commitments.
Currently, the university is proud to be home to 103 students with
disabilities, all of whom are fully integrated into university life through a
variety of academic, social, and financial support measures.
Tuition-Free
Education
All students with officially recognized disabilities at TIIAME are exempt from
tuition fees.
This ensures that financial barriers do not hinder their access to higher
education, allowing them to focus fully on their studies and personal
development.
Continuous
Financial and Social Support
The university provides regular financial and material assistance to students
with disabilities, especially during national holidays such as
December 3rd — International Day of Persons with Disabilities — and other key
dates. These initiatives aim to strengthen social inclusion and uplift student
well-being.
Cultural Inclusion
and Safe Transport Services
TIIAME actively supports the social and cultural life of its students by
offering free tickets to cinemas, theaters, and concerts.
To ensure their full participation, the university also arranges
safe and accessible transportation for all off-campus cultural activities,
allowing students to travel comfortably and confidently.
Mentoring and Peer
Support Programs
Students with disabilities have access to personal academic mentors and peer
volunteers who assist in both academic planning and social integration. This
network helps students navigate university life and ensures they are
well-connected with both faculty and fellow students.
Accessible Learning
Environment
TIIAME continues to invest in infrastructure to create a barrier-free campus:
- Ramps, elevators, and tactile signs have been installed across the
university.
- Classrooms are equipped with assistive technologies such as screen readers
and speech-to-text tools to accommodate students with varying needs.
Through these efforts, TIIAME National Research University is committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive, and fully supportive learning space where all students can thrive both academically and socially.
