Students and Staff Hunger Interventions

The university has further expanded its hunger intervention program for staff and students, incorporating additional support initiatives and research efforts. The updated details include:

     Discounted Meals: Employees enjoy discounted meals at the university canteens, with a convenient delivery service to offices. 

     Flexible Payment: Staff members can use the university kitchens or cafeterias in educational buildings and defer meal payments until after their salary is received, offering financial flexibility.

     Free Holiday Lunches: Free lunches are provided for all employees on holidays, ensuring they are well-supported during these special times.

    Fresh Produce Distribution: Fruits from the university's "Educational Experimental Farm" (EEF) are distributed free of charge to employees. Additionally, vegetables and fruits are offered at significantly lower prices than market rates, promoting access to affordable, healthy food. 

     Employee Benefits:

    • Mukofot puli (Holiday Bonus): Every staff member receives a special "Mukofot puli" (holiday bonus) on each holiday, providing additional financial support during these times.
    • Moddiy Yordam (Special Ocagine Bonuses): Employees are also given "moddiy yordam" (Special Ocagine Bonuses) once a year, further contributing to their well-being and food security.: The university is actively involved in the  project, which is dedicated to researching organic foods at the Educational Experimental Farm (EEF). This initiative promotes the cultivation and use of organic products, benefiting both staff and students while advancing the university's commitment to sustainability and health. This project fosters collaboration between Hungary and Uzbekistan, combining expertise in organic farming and advanced geospatial technologies to improve agricultural practices. Through mutual exchange of knowledge and practical application, the project aims to enhance crop management and yield prediction in both countries.

SOCFarm Project: The university is actively involved in the SOCFarm (Supporting Organic and Convetional Farming through Geospatial Methods) project, which is dedicated to researching organic foods at the Educational Experimental Farm (EEF).
