A delegation from "TIIAME" National Research University successfully participated in the coordinators' meeting, international forum, and RE.Act Summer School Programme organized within the framework of the international project "RE.Act: A Water-Energy Nexus Partnership for Higher Education in Central Asia", held in Naryn, Kyrgyz Republic.
The event was hosted by the Naryn Regional Multidisciplinary Institute of Kyrgyz National University and brought together representatives of leading higher education institutions, research centers, and international organizations from Germany, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan.
The programme featured a series of lectures, seminars, and practical workshops focusing on renewable energy, the Water–Energy Nexus, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), advanced scientific research, and innovative approaches in higher education. The delegation also presented Uzbekistan's experience in the efficient management of water and energy resources to the international participants.
As an important component of the RE.Act Summer School, students worked in international teams to participate in the SDG Competition, where they developed innovative ideas and research projects related to the water–energy sector.
Participants also visited the RealLab Scientific and Practical Center in Naryn Region, where they explored the practical application of renewable energy technologies and became acquainted with the center's modern laboratory infrastructure.
The participation of the "TIIAME" National Research University delegation in these international events further strengthened the University's international academic cooperation, promoted the exchange of scientific knowledge and best practices, and contributed to the development of innovative solutions for sustainable water and energy resource management in Central Asia.
