Openness and transparency: top priorities in creative entrance examinations

A preventive awareness event and roundtable discussion were organized during the university's creative (professional) entrance examinations for applicants to the Department of Physical Education and Sports. The purpose of the event was to ensure openness, transparency, and impartiality throughout the examination process and to prevent corruption.

The event was led by A. Gapparov, Head of the Department for Managing the Anti-Corruption Compliance Control System. During the discussion, participants were introduced to the content and significance of the Rector's order on the organization and conduct of the creative (professional) entrance examinations.

Participants also received detailed explanations on the importance of strictly complying with legal requirements during the examination process, ensuring equal opportunities for all applicants, preventing conflicts of interest, performing official duties conscientiously, and refraining from any actions that could create corruption risks.

The roundtable was attended by E. Toshmatov, Executive Secretary of the Admissions Committee, N. Eshpo'latov, Assistant Executive Secretary, and examination specialists. They shared their views on organizing the creative entrance examinations at a high standard in an open and transparent manner, ensuring fairness in the evaluation process, and fostering a zero-tolerance attitude toward all forms of corruption.

At the conclusion of the event, all responsible personnel were once again reminded of the importance of conducting the examinations impartially and transparently in accordance with established procedures, strictly adhering to the university's anti-corruption policy, and maintaining public trust.
