Section 7, dedicated to training competitive specialists began its work

On June 9, 2026, within the framework of the 25th Traditional Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Scientists, Master's Students, and Talented Students on the theme “Modern Problems of Agriculture and Water Management,” Section 7, titled “Social, Pedagogical, and Spiritual Factors in Training Competitive Specialists for Agriculture and Water Management,” officially commenced its activities.
The section is focused on discussing current issues related to preparing competitive professionals for the agriculture and water management sectors who possess modern knowledge and skills and are capable of meeting labor market demands. The meeting brought together professors and instructors from higher and vocational education institutions, young researchers, master’s students, and talented students, who presented their scientific perspectives and practical proposals for improving the educational process.
During the session, participants listened to scientific presentations addressing the enhancement of educational quality, the introduction of modern pedagogical technologies and innovative approaches into the learning process, the development of professional competencies, the promotion of young people’s spiritual and educational potential, and the cultivation of patriotism among youth.
In addition, a number of proposals and recommendations were put forward concerning the improvement of specialist training systems in agriculture and water management based on international experience, strengthening the integration of education and industry, expanding the implementation of dual education elements, and making effective use of digital technologies.
As part of the conference, young scientists, master’s students, and talented students presented the results of their research, contributing scientific works aimed at developing the education system, improving the quality of specialist training, and creating innovative solutions to existing sectoral challenges. The exchange of views and scientific discussions following the presentations further enhanced the practical significance of the event.
Faculty members, researchers, master’s students, and students of the Professional Education Department of the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers National Research University (TIIAME NRU) also actively participated in the conference. They delivered scientific presentations focused on improving the specialist training system, enhancing the quality of vocational education, and implementing modern pedagogical approaches in practice. Their research addressed key issues such as strengthening the integration of education and industry, developing the professional competencies of future specialists, and training competitive personnel.
Throughout the activities of the section, special attention was given to strengthening cooperation among education, science, and industry; preparing highly qualified specialists who meet the demands of the modern labor market; and supporting the scientific potential of young people.
This scientific and practical conference, together with the activities of Section 7, is of great importance in further improving the system of training qualified personnel for the agriculture and water management sectors, implementing innovative ideas in practice, and contributing to the sustainable development of the country’s agricultural sector.
