International cooperation has been launched between the “Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers” National Research University and SPATIX, a Chinese manufacturer of high-precision GNSS and Precision Agriculture technologies.
This initiative was established through the efforts of Q. Shavazov, Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Mechanization, K. Astanaqulov, Head of the Department of Agricultural Machinery and Technologies, and faculty members B. Khudayarov, Y. Rakhimov, and N. Ashurov.
As part of the cooperation, SPATIX provided the university with a modern QYX Pro automatic steering system. This innovative technology was installed on a Belarus 82.1 tractor and successfully tested at the experimental field of the TIIAME National Research University.
During the testing process, the capabilities of the automatic steering system were demonstrated in practice, including operation based on high-precision GNSS technology, smooth and accurate vehicle movement, fuel efficiency, and the reduction of human-related errors.
This project is of great importance for introducing modern “Precision Agriculture” and “Smart Farming” technologies into agriculture, strengthening the integration of science and industry, and providing students with practical training based on advanced technologies.
Within the framework of the cooperation, the following activities are planned:
— integration of modern agricultural technologies into the educational process;
— organization of practical training sessions for professors and students;
— conducting demonstration seminars and field trials for farmers;
— широкое внедрение Precision Agriculture technologies in Uzbekistan.
This cooperation will not only strengthen the international scientific and technological relations of TIIAME National Research University, but will also contribute to the digitalization and innovative development of agriculture in Uzbekistan.
