In accordance with the implementation of Resolution No. PD-122 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 2, 2026, a training seminar for operators on preparation for the modern grain harvesting season is being organized from May 19 to May 22 in special field areas across several districts of the Kashkadarya region.

The training seminar is being conducted under the leadership of the First Deputy Governor of the region, Uzakov U.Yu., together with the regional Agroinspection authorities. A total of 788 operators for 394 combine harvesters are participating in the seminar.

Representatives from the “TIIAME” National Research University also took part in the event, including A.I. Azimov, Scientific Advisor to the Regional Governor, and Professor B.P. Shaymardonov from the Department of Agricultural Machinery and Technologies.

During the seminar, participants first attended theoretical presentation lectures, where they received detailed information about the operation processes of modern grain harvesters, machine adjustments, and maintenance and service procedures.

During the question-and-answer session, operators raised several practical concerns. These included issues related to local authorities requiring combine harvesters to travel unloaded for distances of up to 20 kilometers, questions about the consequences of such practices, who would cover the additional fuel costs, and problems caused by insufficient preparation of grain fields before harvesting, which has led to various technical malfunctions in combine harvesters.

Overall, participants emphasized that they had gained valuable new knowledge from the training seminar. It was also noted that organizing such seminars annually before the start of the harvesting season, with the participation of scientists, industry specialists, and local government representatives, would be highly beneficial.
