On May 19,2026 alumni, who graduated from the university in 1981 and who are now associated with the former faculties of “Hydrotechnical Construction” and “Economics” visited the university, once again returning to the most sincere and unforgettable moments of their student life.
The warmly organized reunion was held in the University Council Hall. The event was attended by Rector B. Mirzaev, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs B. Khudayarov, Head of the Department M. Bakiyev, and faculty deans.
The university leadership held an open and sincere dialogue with the honorary graduates, providing detailed information about the university’s current development stage, its position in national and international rankings, modern facilities created for students, large-scale reforms aimed at improving the quality of education, and ongoing construction and development projects within the university.
During the meeting, the alumni fondly recalled their student years, which represent the most precious and unforgettable period of human life. They shared warm memories related to their teachers, fellow students, and their alma mater.
In addition, the former graduates presented commemorative gifts to the faculties. They also paid tribute to the professors who once educated and guided them, expressing sincere gratitude for their dedication and hard work.
At the end of the event, a university tour was organized for the guests. The honorary alumni visited the university museum, information-resource center, modern academic buildings, and the green landscaped areas of the campus.
This reunion not only brought together longtime friends once again, but also became a vivid symbol of generational continuity and the enduring respect for teachers and educational institutions.
