Today, on May 13, 2026 a scientific-practical seminar dedicated to innovative technologies in the field of agriculture and water management was held in the Bukhara region. The event was organized in cooperation between the Bukhara Regional Hokimiyat (administration) and the National Research University “TIIAME”.
The seminar became an important platform that brought together managers and specialists working in the field in order to discuss the implementation of scientific developments into practice, the wider use of modern technologies, and current issues in the sector.
During the discussions, special attention was paid to the efficient use of water and land resources, the introduction of digital monitoring systems, the assessment of reclamation conditions, and the widespread application of energy-efficient solutions.
Within the framework of the event, a number of innovative developments were demonstrated. These included:
— modern seed treatment technologies;
— soil moisture monitoring sensors;
— a mobile reclamation laboratory;
— agricultural drones;
— equipment for diagnosing pumping units;
— an eco-analytical laboratory; and other advanced solutions.
During the exhibition part, these technologies were demonstrated in practice, and their effectiveness and application possibilities were explained to the participants.
A science- and innovation-based approach is an important guarantee of sustainable development in the agricultural sector.
