Our students are in Margilan

Nowadays greater attention than ever before is being given to the youth of our country. All necessary conditions are being created for the younger generation to grow into physically healthy and spiritually mature professionals. After all, they are the owners of our future and the builders of our nation’s tomorrow. The initiative of the President of our country to designate every Thursday as “Youth Day” is another clear example of this attention and care.
In accordance with the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PD-122 dated April 2, 2026, “On Measures for Further Improvement of the Training System for Agricultural and Water Management Engineers,” and in order to strengthen students’ professional knowledge and practical skills, actively involve them in production processes, and ensure continuity between education and practice, on May 11, 2026, ten third-year students of the “Electric Power Engineering” programme of the Faculty of Energy at the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers National Research University, together with internship supervisor Assistant Professor Bobur Shodiyev, visited the “School of Water Specialists” located within the “Syrdarya–Sokh Basin Irrigation Systems Administration.”
During the visit, Professor Sabirjan Isayev introduced the students to the practical activities carried out at the “School of Water Specialists” and explained how they could strengthen their professional knowledge and skills through practice, participate directly in production processes, and reinforce the competencies acquired during their studies.
The students of the “Electric Power Engineering” programme were later taken from the “School of Water Specialists” to the dormitory of Fergana State Technical University.
The students were accommodated in the dormitory of Fergana State Technical University.
