On the occasion of May 9 — the Day of Remembrance and Honor, the “Minister’s Cup – 2026” sports competition was successfully held at the initiative of the Ministry of Water Resources.
Professors, teachers, and staff members from the Ministry of Water Resources, the '"TIIAME" National Research University,” the Islam Karimov Tashkent State Technical University, and the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek actively participated in the event.
As part of the competition, participants competed in the following sports:
mini football
volleyball
table tennis
chess
kurash (traditional wrestling)
During the event, the atmosphere of friendly competition, unity, and team spirit grew even stronger. In addition, this sports event served to promote a healthy lifestyle, increase physical activity, and strengthen cooperation between educational and government institutions.
The winners and active participants were duly rewarded by the organizers.
