In recent years, under the leadership of our Honorable President, extensive efforts have been carried out in our country to consistently implement state policy on youth, provide comprehensive support for young people, create the necessary conditions for them to acquire modern knowledge and professions, ensure their employment, and increase their social activity.

In this direction, the Uzbekistan Technical Regulation Agency has also been conducting a number of practical initiatives aimed at supporting young employees working within the system, as well as students studying at higher and specialized secondary educational institutions, and broadly involving them in the fields of standardization, metrology, and certification.

In this regard, a Youth Day event was organized at the National Research University “Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers” with the participation of students, master’s students, doctoral candidates, and young scientists. The event was attended by the Agency Director, Akmal Jumanazarov, who held an open and sincere dialogue with the youth.

During the meeting, detailed information was provided about the reforms being implemented in the technical regulation system, innovations in the field, and the results being achieved. In addition, participants exchanged views on the important aspects that young people aspiring to work in the future as metrologists, standardization specialists, and quality managers should focus on during their education.

The discussion also covered issues such as studying the activities of international organizations related to the field, improving the quality of education, employment, social support, promoting a culture of reading, learning foreign languages, and organizing young people’s free time meaningfully. At the same time, the proposals and initiatives of the students were heard, and concrete plans were outlined to support them.

At the end of the event, students who actively participated in the question-and-answer session were duly awarded by the Agency Director.
