Historical memory and spiritual lesson

On April 30, 2026 an event dedicated to the 140th anniversary of the birth of Abdurauf Fitrat was organized by the teachers of the “Uzbek Language” Department under the leadership of Professor Sh. Abdullayeva, Head of the “Languages” Department of the Faculty of Economics. Students from the Faculties of “Economics,” “Ecology and Law,” “Land Resources and Cadastre,” and others also actively participated in the event.
During the program, teachers and students shared meaningful information about the writer’s life and literary work, his multifaceted activities, and his progressive ideas, as well as their relevance today. In addition, his wise sayings were recited, and artistic performances and stage presentations were showcased. 
This event served not only as a lesson in historical memory for young people but also as a spiritual lesson encouraging the pursuit of knowledge, patriotism, and a sense of responsibility for the homeland. After all, remembering history is a school of inspiration for youth.
