Innovative approaches in water management

In accordance with Resolution No. PD-122 on “Measures to further improve the system for training specialists in agriculture and water management,” an important meeting was held at Mirzo Ulugbek Samarkand State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering.
The meeting was organized under the leadership of Rector Professor Chidem Janbay Turkyilmaz. During the event, an innovative project based on modern technologies an intelligent pump control system was presented.
The event was attended by the university administration, the Head of the “Hydrology and Hydrogeology” Department of the "TIIAME" National Research University, I. Ruziyev, who also serves as the scientific advisor to the Governor of Samarkand Region on agriculture and water management issues, as well as the Director of the Samarkand Regional Center under ISMITI and other specialists working in the field.
Within the framework of the project, issues such as efficient use of water resources, ensuring energy efficiency, and automated management of pumping stations were thoroughly discussed.
The intelligent control system enables real-time monitoring of pump equipment operation modes, early detection of emergency situations, and overall improvement of system efficiency. This makes it highly significant for the wider implementation of digital technologies in the water management sector.
At the conclusion of the meeting, agreements were reached on the practical implementation of the innovative project, further development of scientific research activities, and expansion of mutual cooperation in the field.
