At "TIIAME" National Research University, systematic efforts aimed at strengthening students’ practical skills are entering a new stage

In accordance with the implementation of Resolution No. PD-122 of April 2, 2026, of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, systematic work aimed at strengthening students’ practical skills at the TIIAME National Research University is entering a new stage.
Today, an open dialogue with students was held at the university with the participation of the Minister of Water Resources of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Khamraev. The meeting was attended by representatives of the ministry system, staff of research institutes, professors and teachers, students, and doctoral candidates.

The event was moderated by the Rector of the university, Professor Bakhadir Mirzaev. During the discussion, issues such as the opportunities created for young people in the country, support for scientific research, and the formation of a modern educational environment were thoroughly addressed.
It was emphasized that the university plays an important role as a key higher education institution in training highly qualified specialists for the water management sector. In recent years, the integration of education, science, and industry in the field has been steadily developing, and the employment rate of graduates has been consistently increasing.
During the meeting, special recognition was given to the achievements of talented students and young researchers. Their results were highlighted as an example for other young people.
In addition, during the dialogue, students had the opportunity to receive direct answers to their questions. In particular, important recommendations were given on achieving success in the field, developing leadership skills, and gaining practical experience.
The event was held in an open, sincere, and constructive atmosphere. The youth noted that previously raised proposals are being positively addressed and came forward with new initiatives. All proposals were supported.
