On April 30, 2026, within the framework of the “Youth Day” events program, an international environmental event titled “Global Goals – Local Solutions” was successfully organized. The event was held with the participation of students from our university and the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the event, student teams presented innovative and practical solutions to various environmental problems. Organized in a pitch-session format, the competition contributed to the development of young people’s creative thinking, problem-solving skills, and international cooperation.
The international event was conducted at a high level in an online format by the Head of the Department of Agricultural Machinery and Technologies, Komil Astanakulov, Associate Professor Djapbar Alijanov, and Senior Lecturer Zulfiya Kannazarova.
Throughout the event, participants demonstrated their knowledge and potential by proposing effective local solutions to global environmental challenges. This initiative played an important role in increasing environmental awareness among young people, promoting the concept of sustainable development, and strengthening international experience exchange.
