An open dialogue between the Rector and international students was organized at the “TIIAME” National Research University. During the meeting, students actively expressed their opinions and views on issues that concerned them.
In particular, questions and suggestions were raised regarding the provision of educational materials, the process of mastering academic subjects, living conditions in student dormitories, visa durations, as well as certain challenges encountered when traveling to and from their home countries.
At the same time, within the framework of the Resolution No. PD-122 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 2, 2026, titled “On measures to further improve the system of training engineers in agriculture and water management,” issues such as extending visa periods for international students and expanding opportunities for internships were also discussed in detail.
The Rector particularly emphasized that students’ appeals would be thoroughly reviewed, and that clear and effective measures would be developed and implemented step by step.
Such open dialogues play an important role in timely identifying the problems faced by students, protecting their interests, and further improving the quality of education and social conditions.
