University Youth Startup achievements gain senator’s attention

An important meeting was held at our university with young startup innovators. The event was attended by Rustamxon Abdukhakimovich Kalanov, Chairman of the Tashkent City Council of People’s Deputies and member of the Security and Defense Committee of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis.
During the event, doctoral candidate and PhD in Technical Sciences Ezoz Ozodov, together with his student assistants Khayrullakhonov Khondamirxon and Ergashaliev Mukhammadaziz, presented the university’s startup and innovation achievements over the past three years.
The presentation highlighted the formation of a startup ecosystem, a significant increase in investment volume, and the advancement of many projects to the implementation stage.
An intelligent water purification technology project was also demonstrated.
During the meeting, the senator specifically noted that the amount of investment attracted by students had reached nearly 1 billion Uzbek soums, expressing deep admiration for this achievement. The students were highly praised for independently attracting investment and bringing projects to the commercialization stage.
The senator proposed further support for startups, including assistance through administrative measures and the development of special regulatory and legal mechanisms to promote startup growth.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the university’s innovative activities were highly commended, and it was emphasized that the institution is one of the leading higher education establishments successfully attracting real investment through its youth.
