The “University Cup” competitions have begun

The “University Cup” competitions organized within the framework of Engineering Month have officially started at the National Research University “TIIAME.” The competition is being held to develop young people’s innovative thinking, support their scientific and technical potential, and strengthen their practical skills in modern technologies.
This competition is being conducted in implementation of the tasks set during the expanded videoconference meeting chaired by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on June 20, 2024, regarding personnel training in engineering fields, as well as the initiatives put forward during the open dialogue with youth held on February 14, 2025.
The opening ceremony was attended by registered student participants, faculty members, and university administration.
The event was opened by Shokirov Shukhrat Sobirovich, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation of the University.
Within the framework of the “University Cup” competition, contests are being held among university students in the following areas:
Innovative Agricultural Machinery
Artificial Intelligence
Cybersecurity
3D Modeling
Speakers at the opening ceremony emphasized that the competition plays an important role in increasing young people’s interest in science, supporting their innovative ideas, and developing practical projects.
As noted, the competition serves as an important platform for identifying talented students, encouraging them, and fostering promising startup projects in the future.
The “University Cup” competition will be held in several stages, and the winners will be appropriately awarded.
