On April 7, 2026, at “TIIAME” National Research University, the Department for Youth Affairs, Spirituality and Enlightenment, together with the Department of Humanities, organized the official opening ceremony of the week dedicated to the great commander and statesman Amir Temur’s 690th anniversary.

The event was attended by scholars and researchers specializing in Temur studies, well-known directors and actors, university leadership, professors, students, and members of the wider public. During the opening ceremony, special emphasis was placed on Amir Temur’s rich historical legacy, his significant contribution to the development of statehood, and his importance in educating the younger generation.

Invited guests at the event delivered presentations on the great leader’s life path, his policies in governance, and his military campaigns. His role in world history was discussed in detail, and parallels were analyzed between his principles and the justice-based approaches being implemented in the country today.

It should be noted that within the framework of this week, lectures, educational and spiritual meetings, exhibitions, and various competitions are planned. These activities aim to enhance students’ historical awareness and strengthen their respect for national values.
