The implementation of the directive of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, dated March 10, 2026: A new format of dual education long-term industrial internship has been launched for students of the "TIIAME" National Research University. This initiative is being implemented in accordance with the directive of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated March 10, 2026.
On March 28, 2026 twenty five 3rd course students of "'Hydrotechnical Construction" Faculty departed via the Tashkent North Railway Station to undertake a 6-month industrial internship at the Narin Hydropower Plants Cascade under the dual education system.
On the same day, another group of fifteen 3rd course students set off by special transport to Zafarobod district of Jizzakh region. There, they will complete their internship at facilities related to water supply systems being constructed along the DM-3 canal. These include main pipeline networks delivering water through pumping stations, upgrading the capacity of two existing substations, and the construction of three new pumping stations.
The departure process was organized at a high level. In particular, “Uzbekhydroenergo” JSC paid special attention to all organizational matters, ensuring safe and comfortable travel conditions for the students.
In addition, responsible specialists provided detailed briefings on internship procedures, safety regulations, and industrial discipline requirements.
These industrial internships within the framework of dual education aim to strengthen students’ theoretical knowledge through practical experience, familiarize them with modern technologies and production processes, and further enhance the integration between science and industry.
