Turkmenistan, great news! Mathematicians achieved a triumphant victory at the OMOUS-2026 Olympiad!

From March 23 to 28, 2026, the VI Open International Mathematics Olympiad (OMOUS-2026) was held in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan.
This prestigious competition brought together 640 participants from 51 higher education institutions across 10 countries, including Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, India, Iran, Indonesia, Poland, Russia, Romania, Germany, and France.
Representing our university, our students delivered outstanding results in Category B (individual track), winning:
🥇 2 gold medals
🥈 1 silver medal
🥉 3 bronze medals
In addition, in the team competition of Category B, they secured a place among the top three and were awarded 🥉 a bronze medal.
This remarkable achievement came as a wonderful gift during the festive days of Navruz being celebrated at our university.
