Practical Training in the framework of Dual Education
28.02.2026
On February 27, 2026 practical training sessions were organized at the Buka Agro-Economics Technical College by Ilxom Roziev, Head of the Department of Hydrology and Hydrogeology, and Ilkhom Begmatov, Head of the Department of Irrigation and Land Reclamation. The sessions were held with the aim of effectively implementing the dual education system and strengthening the integration of education and production.
These classes were conducted based on the dual education concept, focusing on integrating theoretical knowledge with practical experience, developing students’ professional competencies, and introducing them to modern approaches in the field.
During the lessons, detailed explanations were provided on the formation characteristics of surface and groundwater, hydrological observation and monitoring methods, effective management of irrigation systems, and the scientific foundations for improving land reclamation conditions. In addition, students received practical recommendations on the rational use of water resources and on preventing soil salinization and waterlogging processes.
Throughout the sessions, special attention was given to developing students’ independent thinking, analytical skills, and decision-making abilities through the use of case-study methods based on problem situations. Students completed practical calculations, worked with maps, and carried out assignments related to determining irrigation norms.
This initiative played an important role in strengthening cooperation between educational institutions, aligning the educational process with industry needs, and training competitive specialists.
Through the consistent development of dual education, progress is being made in enhancing students’ practical preparedness, professional responsibility, and level of specialized knowledge.
