A republican scientific and practical conference on the topic “Reforms of New Uzbekistan and Current Issues of the Philosophy of History” was held today, On February 27, 2026 at "TIIAME" National Research University. The event was attended by the university leadership, professors and teachers, representatives of state and public organizations, leading scholars, researchers, students, and members of the mass media.
The conference was opened by the Rector of the university, Mirzaev Bakhadir Suyunovich. In his speech, he elaborated on the reforms being implemented in the social, economic, political, legal, and spiritual spheres of society in the process of building New Uzbekistan. He emphasized the need for a renewed way of thinking and worldview, as well as the priority importance of human capital, science, education, and innovation. He also highlighted that instilling the philosophy of history into the consciousness of the younger generation is one of today’s pressing tasks.
During the conference, keynote reports were presented on the historical-philosophical, social, and spiritual aspects of the process of building New Uzbekistan. In particular, Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Rector of Profi University, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor Shoumarov Gyrat Bakhromovich delivered a presentation titled “Current Issues of the Psychology of New Uzbekistan.”
Director of the state museum, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Hasanov Bakhtiyor Vahapovich analyzed the reforms of New Uzbekistan from the perspective of the philosophy of history.
In addition, Professor, Doctor of Sociological Sciences Bekmuradov Mansur Bobomurodovich spoke about the socio-spiritual significance of the principle of gratitude.
Deputy Director of the Institute for Socio-Spiritual Research , Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Kuronov Muhammadjon highlighted the significance of the Presidential Address as a methodology of proactive spirituality.
Professor of the Department of Humanities at "TIIAME" National Research University, Doctor of Philosophical Sciences Nazarov Qiyom Normirzaevich focused on the role of the 2026 Activity Program of New Uzbekistan in innovative development.
The scientific and practical conference was organized at a high level, and the ideas and conclusions expressed once again demonstrated the important role of history and philosophy in the process of building New Uzbekistan.
