Sincere dialogue with honored elder mothers

On February 24, 2026 a spiritual and educational roundtable discussion was organized at "TIIAME" National Research University as part of an open dialogue with retired elder women. The event was held to strengthen the traditions of respect for teachers, continuity between generations, and appreciation of life experience within the university community. Professors, lecturers, and students took part in the meeting.
The Rector’s Advisor on Women’s Affairs, U. Sangirova, delivered an opening speech and introduced the honorary guest of the roundtable Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor Mamura Tashtanova, who worked effectively for many years at the university’s Department of Physics.
Afterward, Mamura Tashtanova spoke about her professional career, scientific research, extensive experience gained while working with students, and the life lessons she has learned.
In her remarks, she emphasized that dedication to science, the mentor–disciple tradition, and a compassionate environment play an important role in the quality of education. Her reflections on the role of women in society, the harmony of knowledge and upbringing, and the importance of patience and perseverance in achieving great success left a strong impression on the participants.
Students addressed the professor with questions of interest to them and received valuable advice on scientific activity, pedagogical skills, and life experience. The conversation was held in an open and sincere spirit, further strengthening the spiritual connection between generations.
At the end of the event, the university administration expressed sincere gratitude to Mamura Tashtanova for her many years of dedicated service, her contribution to the development of science, and her role in educating the younger generation.
