A Career Day event

A Career Day event was held on February 4, 2026 with the aim of ensuring the implementation of the order on measures to promote the employment of graduates of higher education institutions. The event was organized in accordance with staffing requests submitted by ministries, agencies, and organizations by areas of personnel training. It was conducted jointly by the Faculty of "Land Resources and Cadastre" Faculty and the Student Internship Department.
During the event, students in their graduating year from the following fields of study were selected based on merit: Agricultural Mechanization, Geodesy and Geoinformatics, Land Cadastre and Land Use, Cadastre (by Types of Activities), Innovative Technologies in Remote Sensing of Land, and Vocational Education (Land Cadastre and Land Management). Students were provided with explanations on concluding tripartite agreements between the employer, the university, and the student, under which the employer covers the student’s tuition fees in exchange for the student’s obligation to work for the employer after graduation, as well as other related matters.
As part of the event, a seminar-training session was held for university students by Abdulaziz Gulboyev, Project Manager of the “Step into the Future” Center at the Mirzo Ulugbek Bank Service Center, together with representatives of the “Step into the Future” Center. The seminar was conducted within the framework of Presidential Resolution No. PD-61 and provided practical information on employment opportunities, transforming business ideas into projects, and financing possibilities.
In addition, representatives of the non-governmental non-profit organization “Teach for Uzbekistan”, Zarina Berdiyeva and Yodgor Inomjonov, presented the organization’s activities, program opportunities, and available job vacancies to fourth-year bachelor’s degree graduating students. Their presentation focused on supporting the development of the school education system, particularly by attracting talented, knowledgeable young leaders and specialists with leadership potential to work as teachers in general education schools located in socially disadvantaged regions.
