In order to ensure the implementation of the order on measures aimed at providing employment for graduates of higher education institutions, the Student Internship Department provided explanations on a number of issues in accordance with requests submitted by ministries, agencies, and organizations by areas of personnel training. These included selecting suitable students from the academic programs of Hydropower Engineering, Operation of Hydraulic Structures and Pumping Stations, Hydraulic Engineering Construction (in Water Management), Hydropower Facilities in Irrigation Systems, and Mechanics and Mathematical Modeling; as well as concluding tripartite agreements between the employer, the university, and the student. Such agreements предусматривают that, upon graduation, the student works for the employer, while the employer covers the student’s tuition fees, along with other related matters.

During the event, a seminar-training session was conducted for graduating students of the university by the Kelajakka qadam (“Step into the Future”) Center within the framework of Resolution No. PD-61. Practical information was provided on employment opportunities, transforming business ideas into projects, and available financing mechanisms.

Representatives of the non-governmental non-profit organization Teach for Uzbekistan, Zarina Berdiyeva and Yodgor Inomjonov, delivered a presentation for fourth-year bachelor’s students and graduating master’s students. The presentation focused on supporting the development of the school education system, particularly by attracting talented, knowledgeable young leaders and specialists with leadership potential to work as teachers in general education schools located in socially disadvantaged regions. Information was also shared about the organization’s activities, program opportunities, and available job vacancies.
