The International Forum on Strategic Cooperation in Education and
Science, held in Astana under the slogan “Kazakhstan – The Land of Academic
Knowledge,” brought together leaders of leading universities and
representatives of international organizations from Central Asia, the United
States and European countries.
At the forum, the
President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokaev, emphasized the
strategic importance of international cooperation in education and science,
recognizing artificial intelligence, educational innovation and international
technology transfer as key drivers of global development.
The Rector of the “Tashkent
Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers” National
Research University presented the university’s initiatives aimed at expanding
international cooperation in the fields of engineering education, transboundary
water relations, and sustainable agriculture. He highlighted the crucial role
of joint efforts among universities in addressing issues related to water
resources and digital transformation.
The international
forum served as an important step toward strengthening academic dialogue and
regional cooperation, opening up new opportunities for sustainable development
in education and science.
