Literature — a mirror of thought

On October
29, 2025 Professor I. R. Akhmedov of the “Uzbek Language and
Literature” Department conducted an open lesson on the topic “Literary
Movements” within the subject “Introduction to Literary Studies” for
groups 131, 132 and 133 of the “Philology and language teaching:
Russian language” program.
During the
class, the instructor engaged in open dialogue with the students, successfully
applying innovative pedagogical technologies, aimed at encouraging independent
thinking, improving fluency in expressing thoughts in Russian, and expanding
students’ vocabulary. The students demonstrated active participation throughout
the session, and a question-and-answer segment on the topic was held.
Indeed, the
ability to express one’s thoughts in another language is a reflection of the
breadth of human intellect and the high level of one’s cultural development.
