A Round-table discussion was held with the first-year students within the framework of the “Hour of Honesty”

In order to implement the action plan outlined in Resolution No. 01/06/40 of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, dated October 9, 2025, titled “Organizational and Practical Measures to Prevent Corruption among Youth in Higher and Vocational Education Institutions and Academic Lyceums,” the university organized another round-table discussion within the framework of the “Hour of Honesty” initiative.
The event was attended by A. Gapparov, Head of the University’s Anti-Corruption Compliance Control Department, and A. Baratov, Deputy Dean for Youth Affairs of the Faculty of Land Management. They held an open dialogue with first-year students of the faculty.
During the discussion, students received detailed explanations about the importance of human qualities such as honesty, integrity, responsibility, and justice in life, as well as the negative impact of corruption on personal and societal development. Practical recommendations were also presented on how to prevent corrupt practices.
The event was conducted in an interactive format, allowing students to share their opinions and suggestions. At the end of the meeting, participants emphasized the need for young people to adhere to the principles of honesty and to take an active civic stance in the fight against corruption.
