President Shavkat Mirziyoyev put forward a series of important initiatives at the Gabala Summit of the Organization of Turkic States aimed at strengthening the unity of the Turkic world and enhancing its role in global politics, economics, and humanitarian affairs.
In particular, the President proposed:

Holding the first joint meeting of the foreign ministers and heads of special services of the Turkic States in Samarkand to coordinate approaches on regional and global security issues;

Supporting the adoption of the Treaty on Strategic Partnership, Eternal Friendship, and Brotherhood in the near future, and initiating the development of a Strategy for the Development of the Organization of Turkic States until 2030;

Establishing a Permanent Council on Economic Partnership of the Turkic States and locating its Project Office in Tashkent;
-
Creating a Turkic Industrial Alliance, a “Turkic Green Corridors” system, and a “Green Transformation” consortium to shape a new space of economic opportunities;
-
Forming an Expert Group on Organic Agriculture and introducing a single Turkic brand of organic products to the global market;
-
Supporting the development of the Middle Corridor and linking it with the China–Kyrgyzstan–Uzbekistan railway and Trans-Afghan corridor projects, while emphasizing the importance of digitalizing customs procedures and optimizing tariffs;

Expanding the activities of the Turkic Investment Fund and adopting a cooperation program with international and national financial institutions;

Adopting a “Roadmap on Artificial Intelligence and the Creative Economy” and proposing to hold an International Exhibition of the Turkic World in Uzbekistan;
-
Establishing a Turkic States International University in Uzbekistan, which will become a hub for joint research and innovation;
-
Developing a joint action plan to combat extremist and radical ideologies and implementing cooperative measures to raise environmental awareness among youth;
-
Organizing an international conference in 2026 titled “The Legacy of Nizami Ganjavi and Alisher Navoi in the Spiritual Life of the Turkic World.”
