The Commonwealth of Nations in the interpretation of life

On September 18, 2025 in order to implement letter N. 66/UZB dated September 15, 2025, from the Director of the Azerbaijan Cultural Center, Akif Maorifli, A. Azimov, Deputy Dean for Youth Affairs of the Faculty of “Hydrotechnical Construction,” R. Kodirova, Senior Lecturer of “Uzbek Language and Literature” Department, and 25 foreign students took part in the event held at the Heydar Aliyev Azerbaijan Cultural Center dedicated to the 140th anniversary of Uzeyir Hajibeyli—the founder of Azerbaijani professional music, the author of the first opera in the East, and a great composer.
At this event, students witnessed the traditions of eternal friendship and cooperation between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan in the fields of culture, science, and education. They became convinced of the two nations’ rich historical heritage, centuries-old culture, and the enduring strength of humanitarian relations between our countries.
