Today, on September 12, 2025 our university’female students, tutors, and faculty advisors, led by Z. Ismailova, took part in the “National Costumes” festival held in  Mirzo Ulugbek District National Park.

The event was also attended by the Deputy Mayor of Tashkent City and Head of the Family and Women’s Affairs Department, Shahnoza Sultanova, as well as the Advisor on Women’s Issues to the Mirzo Ulugbek District Mayor and First Deputy Head of the District’s Mahalla and Family Support Department, Nasiba Shukurovna Mirbabayeva.

From our university, not only students from different regions of the republic but also our Turkmen peers had the opportunity to participate in their national costumes. This, in turn, enhances the respect of our students for national values, as well as their appreciation for their parents and their nation. As we know, every people has its own unique culture, traditions, and customs. The most significant expression of these values is national dress. National attire reflects a nation’s historical life, worldview, and way of living. It is not just clothing, but also the face of the nation and its spiritual heritage.

National dress is the embodiment of a people’s heart, history, and spirituality. Through it, we preserve our national values and pass them on to future generations. Showing respect and care for traditional clothing is the duty of every citizen.
