Dilshoda Norboyeva, a PhD student at the Department of Geodesy and Geoinformatics and an assistant at the Department of State Cadastres, studied at the prestigious University of Salzburg (Paris Lodron Universität Salzburg), ranked 601st in the world university rankings, during the spring semester of the 2024/2025 academic year.

This internship was carried out within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA171 International Credit Mobility project. During the program, the researcher:

  • mastered specialized subjects in English;

  • gained academic experience in an international environment;

  • became closely acquainted with the European higher education system;

  • completed projects in collaboration with students from different countries;

  • acquired important skills for personal and professional development.

This successful participation once again demonstrates the opportunities that the Erasmus+ program opens up for young people.

Additionally, the PhD student took part in the traditional AGIT: GI-2025 International Conference held on July 2–3, 2025. At this prestigious event, she had the opportunity to connect with many prominent scientists, researchers, and organizations working in the fields of land management, geodesy, geoinformatics, and cartography, paving the way for scientific collaboration and reaching important agreements on future joint projects and co-authored publications.

The Erasmus+ KA171 program is funded by the European Union and implemented based on cooperation agreements with partner universities. Through participation in this program, students have the opportunity to study at a partner university abroad for one semester or one year.
