1. Agreements on Expanding International Cooperation

Agreements were reached with Kristina Bole, Head of the Mobility Programs Department at Humboldt University of Berlin (Germany) and Johann Komolle, Coordinator of the Erasmus+ program, on joint implementation of future Capacity Building projects.

2. Lectures and Exchange of Experience

Professor M. Khamidov, Department of Irrigation and Land Reclamation, delivered lectures for master’s students of Humboldt University of Berlin on the topics: “Functions of Agricultural Land Use in Central Asia” and “Qualitative Data Analysis: An Example of Irrigation Management in Uzbekistan.”

Productive meetings were held at the Department of Agroecology of Humboldt University of Berlin (Germany). An agreement was reached that the Head of Department, Professor Marcel Robischon, will teach at our university in the 2025–2026 academic year.

3. Agreements with Dresden University of Technology

In accordance with the instructions given at the video conference chaired by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on June 20, 2024 (on the training of engineering personnel and improving the activities of higher educational institutions), a university delegation visited Dresden University of Technology (Germany). Effective agreements were reached on the implementation of joint projects, organization of internships for master’s and doctoral students, introduction of full-time PhD programs, as well as the participation of faculty members in the educational processes of universities.

4. Seminar at the ZALF Center (Germany)

A seminar on “Sustainability of Irrigated Agriculture in Uzbekistan” was organized at the ZALF Center (Germany). Project leader of SusWEF, Professor M. Khamidov, presented information on the results achieved within the project and the recommendations developed. Negotiations were also held, and agreements were reached on the implementation of future joint scientific projects and their practical application.

5. Visit to the University of Bologna (Italy)

Dean of the Faculty of Hydro-Reclamation, J. Ishchanov, visited the University of Bologna (Italy), ranked 138th in the QS World University Rankings 2026. The purpose of the visit was to discuss the implementation of joint scientific projects, development of cooperation within the Erasmus+ program, as well as scientific supervision of master’s and doctoral students.
