A Seminar- training was organized for Press Secretaries

Press secretaries of higher education institutions stand out for their responsibility in ensuring that information disseminated by the institution through TV, radio, the internet, newspapers, social networks, and other channels is analyzed, understood, and used consciously, critically, and independently.
As is known, according to the order of the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, starting from July 3rd, a 24-hour short-term training course was organized for the information service staff of higher education institutions to retrain personnel and enhance their qualifications within the higher education system.
The main goal of the training course is to effectively implement information policy in higher education institutions, to develop the activities of press services using modern communication tools, and to strengthen the professional potential of information officers.
Experienced teachers such as Professor Beruniy Alimov and Associate Professors Gulnora Nishonova and Irodakhon conducted the training sessions during the seminar.
At the end of the seminar sessions, the press secretaries visited the Al-Khwarizmi Tashkent University of Information Technologies and became closely acquainted with its information service.
Nazokat Abduqunduzova, Head of the Information Service of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, and Zafarbek Amirqulov gave detailed answers to the press secretaries’ questions. Afterwards, a ceremonial certificate awarding event for the seminar participants was held at the Ministry building. Among them was our university’s press secretary, Rahimboy Jumaniyozov. The certificates were personally handed over by Minister Kongratbay Avezimbetovich Sharipov, who wished all the press secretaries success and good luck.
