A trilateral meeting was held at “TIIAME” National Research University with the representatives of the China Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower Research (IWHR) and Beijing HRUNAN Technology

During the meeting, the parties thoroughly discussed strengthening mutual cooperation in the areas of digital water management, water-saving technologies, scientific research, innovation, and training of specialists.
At the end of the discussions, the parties signed a trilateral Cooperation Memorandum aimed at establishing long-term collaboration. The Memorandum outlines cooperation in the following areas:

Establishing an innovative digital agriculture and water management platform between Uzbekistan and China;

Joint implementation of scientific research and technological developments;

Introduction of scientific innovations in the field of water management into practice;

Training of specialists, development of educational programs, and launching exchange programs;

Testing technologies in practice and promoting them through demonstration projects;

Organizing international scientific conferences, exhibitions, and scientific exchange events.
The Memorandum also includes the creation of a laboratory for smart water resource management and water-saving technologies.
At the end of the event, the Rector of “TIIAME” National Research University, Bakhadir Mirzaev, emphasized that this cooperation should be long-term, mutually beneficial, and responsive to modern demands.
“TIIAME” National Research University expressed its satisfaction with the agreements reached with international partners and reaffirmed its readiness to continue effective cooperation based on this Memorandum.
