Today, representatives of the prestigious Xi’an Technological University (China) visited the "TIIAME" National Research University.
During the official meeting, the Rector of "TIIAME" National Research University, Prof. Bakhadir Suyunovich Mirzaev, and the Vice President of Xi’an Technological University, Mr. Zhang Xiaohui, signed a formal agreement to establish a “China-Uzbekistan Joint Scientific-Innovation Laboratory of Hydropower Engineering”, based on a previously signed Memorandum of Understanding.
Areas of Cooperation within the Joint Laboratory:

Increasing the efficiency of hydro and micro hydropower stations

Smart agro-technologies

Combating soil salinization and restoring the ecological environment

Utilizing alternative energy sources, particularly hydropower

Joint scientific research, academic exchange of faculty and students
At the conclusion of the negotiations, both sides emphasized that this collaboration will not only strengthen the friendship between the two universities but also enhance their international scientific capacity.
