The First Seminar of the “Green Deal for Central Asian Universities” project was held

The opening seminar of the international project “Green Deal for Central Asian Universities (GDCAU),” which involves 13 higher education institutions from Europe and Central Asia, was held on May 11–14, 2025, at Constructor University in Bremen, Germany.
The aim of the project is to integrate environmental sustainability into the education system and to guide higher education toward a greener future.
During the seminar:
The completed tasks and shortcomings within the framework of the project were discussed. Working plans tailored to the summer period and the new academic year were developed for participating universities. The event featured speeches by the leadership of Constructor University, including Professor Thomas Auf der Heyde, project coordinators Isak Frumin, Dinara Jakhinbek (ETU), and other participants.
Representing Uzbekistan, project coordinator Sherzod Rakhmonov and project manager Ikboljon Bozarov participated online from our university.
