On May 16, 2025, a practical seminar-training was held at the "Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers" National Research University. The seminar aimed to support scientific research activities and encourage integration into reputable scientific publications.

The event brought together university faculty members, researchers, independent scholars, and gifted students. One of the key topics of the seminar was identifying reliable sources of research funding and explaining effective mechanisms for utilizing them.

In particular, participants were introduced to the globally recognized Pivot-RP database, which provides free access to thousands of research grants, projects, and partnership programs. Practical guidance was provided on how to register on the platform, use keyword search tools to find relevant grants, and key aspects to consider when preparing grant applications.

The seminar also covered detailed information about the scientific journals affiliated with the Agency for Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan, particularly the journal Innovator. The session explained the process for article submission and the methodological and structural requirements for scientific papers. Participants received analytical insights into criteria for preparing manuscripts, the peer-review process, communication with editorial boards, and the main factors influencing publication acceptance.

The event was conducted in an interactive format, with open discussions on current issues raised by attendees. Challenges faced when preparing and publishing scientific articles in both domestic and international journals were discussed, along with potential solutions.

This seminar-training is one of the important scientific-practical initiatives undertaken by the "TIIAME" National Research University to strengthen research capacity, bring young researchers onto the international stage, and expand scientific collaboration.
