From April 27 to May 12, 2025, a group of senior staff and faculty members from higher education institutions of our republic completed a professional development course titled “Pedagogical Technologies and Teaching Excellence (Innovations in Scientific Research)”. The course was organized by the Institute for Retraining and Professional Development of Higher Education Personnel and the International Northern University in cooperation with Finland and Sweden.

Professor Zukhra Ismailova completed her training at the University of Jyväskylä, which is ranked among the Top 500 universities internationally in Finland. She also trained at the largest and oldest higher education institution in the capital city of Helsinki, ranked 117th in the QS World University Rankings 2025, and 3rd globally in the 2025 Sustainable Development Rankings—placing it among the world’s top 100 universities.

In addition to the training, the university gifted scientific journals and literature to Yakhyoev  Maksud, the head of the Information Resource Center (IRC), which will be available for use by students and faculty to enrich the IRC’s library collections.

Professor Ismailova expressed her gratitude to the university administration for their support in effectively facilitating both academic and organizational aspects of the program.
