Open Doors Day

On May 1, 2025 graduates of the specialized secondary school in exact sciences under our university visited the "TIIAME" National Research University as part of an Open Doors Day event. The school delegation, led by Director PhD Kurash Kubyashev and graduating students, explored the university academic offerings and campus facilities.
The event began with an introduction to the IELTS Partnership Program, presented by Guzal Eshchanova, Associate Professor of "Economics" Faculty, "English Language" Department. The guests were shown the facilities in Building 11, where IELTS international exams by British Council are conducted.
Next, students were introduced to the university Information Resource Center by its director, PhD Maksud Yakhyayev, who detailed the electronic resources, digital library features, and access to international academic platforms connected to foreign universities.
Participants also learned about the Abdulla Oripov Museum and the A. Oripov Park on campus. Guzal Eshchanova and M. Yakhyayev explained that the university maintains the tradition of publishing the annual poetry collection “Springs of Inspiration” compiled by students and faculty in honor of the poet.
As part of the tour, the visitors explored the IT-Park building, which houses the Registrar’s Office, where they were introduced to the HEMIS educational management system and its integration with international education practices.
Later, the students visited one of the university leading departments, Faculty of Economics. The Dean of 'Economics" Faculty PhD Uchqun Zoyirovich Alimov, spoke about the growth university regarding national and international reputation, the available economics programs, and opportunities such as student exchanges, Double Degree programs, and international scholarships. He emphasized how students have studied abroad for different periods during their undergraduate and graduate education through international partnerships.
The dean also invited students into "Youth Room" of the Faculty and administrative offices, explaining the facilities and academic environment available to motivated learners.
Finally, students visited the "Professional Development Center" (Room 226, Building B), established in collaboration with the British Council, where Guzal Eshchanova presented information on:

We hope that such Open Doors Day events will attract knowlegable and talented youth to our beloved university and pave the way for the admission capable students in the new academic year.
