This year, National Research University “Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers” (TIIAME) celebrates its 90th anniversary. This milestone symbolizes our ongoing dedication to knowledge, scientific advancement, and national development.

Founded in 1934, the National Research University TIIAME is now recognized as one of the leading higher education institutions on the international stage:

  • QS World University Rankings 2025 – #547

  • Times Higher Education Rankings 2024 – #601

To mark the anniversary, significant initiatives have been carried out to strengthen national and international cooperation in the field of higher education.

In collaboration with experts from the German ASIIN Creation Agency, capacity-building workshops were organized for universities across the country. The experience of TIIAME was showcased as a model example on the path to international accreditation.

Additionally, an international conference titled “Challenges and Prospects:The Development of Specialized Higher Education and Science in the Context of Globalization: ” was held, bringing together leading experts, academic leaders, and diplomatic representatives from around the world.

The event was attended by ambassadors, consuls, and around 100 international scientists, including recipients of prestigious awards such as the Nobel Prize, the Zayed Award, and the Mustafa Prize, representing over 20 countries, including the European Union, France, Germany, Bangladesh, China, Hungary, Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, the USA, Canada, the UK, the Netherlands, Turkey, Belarus, Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea, India, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, and others.

I also see this as a sincere sign of respect and recognition for the National Research University “Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers.”
