On April 11, 2025 the students of the Faculty of Land Resources and Cadastre visited the Geography and Geoinformatics Department of the National University of Uzbekistan to closely study and apply the models of the natural environment and geography of Uzbekistan as part of their geography studies.

On April 11, 2025 the 2nd-year students of the cartography and remote sensing program of "TIIAME" National Research University, groups 212 and 109, visited the National University of Uzbekistan to observe the topographic-terrain Tashkent globe. The goal was to enhance their knowledge and worldview in geodesy, cartography, and cadastre, as well as to learn about remote sensing of our planet with the help of the globe. The excursion was led by Associate Professor O. Rozikulova.

Students learned to understand the laws of the Earth’s surface, study natural geographic processes, and explored how to obtain data from the globe. They also gained a visual understanding of the changing seasons and how the Earth’s rotation around the Sun affects the climate in different seasons. Professor M. Mirakmalov provided hands-on assistance during the session.
