The Holiday of solidarity and tolerance
30.03.2025

In the congratulatory message from the head of our state to the people on the occasion of the Ramadan holiday, it is stated: "Undoubtedly, the noble values of the holy religion of Islam, which embody high humanistic ideas are in harmony with the transformations being carried out today in the New Uzbekistan, which was especially evident in the month of Ramadan."
Indeed, our religion is distinguished by its humanity and humanistic essence. The fact that this blessed month was celebrated based on the idea "Ramadan is the month of generosity, unity, and magnanimity" is proof of our opinion.
There is no doubt that this month further strengthened the atmosphere of peace, friendship, kindness, and mercy in our society.
Ramadan is a sacred month for Muslims, which not only involves fasting but also promotes such human values as generosity, solidarity, and tolerance.
It holds great meaning, based on three concepts, which were expressed in the idea. Generosity and kindness play an important role in the month of Ramadan. Making donations, helping those in need, being active in charity work during this month is one of the main qualities of Muslims.
Ramadan is a month of collective prayer and strengthening the unity of the Islamic community. Fasting teaches Muslims not only personal discipline but also understanding and support for one another. Gathering in a communal setting during iftar and Taraweeh prayers, praying together with family members and friends strengthens unity.
This month teaches people to be patient, kind, and tolerant. Fasting encourages a person to abstain not only from food and drink but also from bad talk, gossip, anger, and hostility, urging them to be tolerant and kind towards others.
Thus, the month of Ramadan is not only a time of fasting but also a wonderful opportunity for a person to spiritually and socially improve, be generous, act in solidarity with society, and live in the spirit of tolerance.
Therefore, during this blessed month, many charitable events were organized, including visiting low-income families, the elderly, the lonely, people in need, and individuals with disabilities, providing them with assistance, improving homes and neighborhoods, mass tree planting with the participation of representatives from three generations, and creating new gardens and parks.
Also, in his congratulatory speech, the President said: "Such events, which have become a good tradition in recent years, are an integral part of ensuring the interests, honor, and dignity of a person in the country, demonstrating the unity of our hardworking and noble people as a single and harmonious family, and we will definitely continue this work, which holds great significance for us."
It was emphasized that Islam is, above all, a teaching that elevates humanity, science, knowledge, enlightenment, and the best qualities.
