The Dean of the Faculty of Energy, A.Zh. Isakov, Associate Professor of "Automation and Technological Process Control" Department, E.O. Bazarov, Associate Professor of the Department of "Power Supply and Renewable Energy Sources", J.O. Izzatillaev, and Associate Professor of the Department of "Electrical Engineering and Mechatronics", Yu.E. Chulliyev are currently on a business trip in different regions of the Samarkand province.
The research revealed that the protective zone of 6-10/0.4 kV power lines is not sufficiently cleared of tree trunks, the wires lack proper tension, fuses are missing, there is a need to increase the installation of reactive power compensation devices, and staff qualifications need to be improved. Additionally, the technical operation rules for electrical installations are not being followed, and areas for potential construction of new micro-HPPs were identified.Preliminary calculations, based on the measurement results, showed that electricity losses in enterprises could be reduced by up to 10% by eliminating the aforementioned deficiencies (with almost no additional electricity costs).
