On February 4, 2024 the representatives of Keimyung College University (South Korea) made a visit to the "TIIAME" National Research University within the framework of the international grant.

  It is known that the international project "Increasing the Educational Competence of Mechatronics Technicum at "TIIAME"  National Research University in Uzbekistan" (01.04.2024-31.03.2029) within the framework of "International Cooperation Leading University development support" grant program began its activities on April 1, 2024.

   The coordinator of the international project in Uzbekistan, the rector of "TIIAME" National Research University, Prof. Mirzaev Bakhodir Suyunovich met with the General coordinator of the project in South Korea, Prof.Dr.Sanseog Lee, exchanged views on a number of tasks and their implementation.

  In addition, in the discussion organized with Professor Hae Woon Choi and Dr. Dongeon Oh from Keimyung College-University, Professor-teachers of our university Kh. Turkmenov, Professor R. Baratov, Associate Professor G. Eshchanova and employers also took part in the event.

  At this meeting, the textbooks published by partners in the first year of the project, curriculum as well as the subjects taught in the first and second years of technicum were discussed in detail. A presentation of 6 textbooks created in cooperation with professors of Keimyung College University was also held.

 The two main directions of this project are:

   The goal of the International Mechatronics Technikum at university is to train specialists in the field of Mechatronics and Robotics based on the advanced technologies and experience of Keimyung College-University, to place the necessary equipment in 5 laboratories and to develop practical skills.

   The creation of  "Digital Education and Innovation Support Centre" at university is aimed at addressing such issues as reforms adopted in the field of development of digital education and innovation in our country, effective activities of the faculty and students working in an international technical university through different international platforms, increasing the income of girls and women in Uzbekistan, as well as gender equality.

  At the beginning of the event, a project participant, Associate Professor of "English language" Department Guzal Eshchanova gave the detailed information about the efforts of the university rector in the field of advanced training of teachers at "TIIAME" National Research University, about the positive results achieved during the joint study of existing proposals and then acquainted them with the information on specific plans within the framework of the joint Uzbek-South Korean project.

   The participants of the event were also informed by Guzal Eshchanova about "Digital Education and Innovation Support Centre", the opening of which is planned at our university within the framework of the project, about the activities of the members of the Women's Committee at the center, about participation in startup projects, effective implementation of entrepreneurial activities, as well as improving IT skills in particular areas using the best practices of South Korea.

  In addition, detailed information was provided on the creation of a textbook, on the activities of  "Digital Education and Innovation Support Centre ",  teaching Korean and English at the Center and effective organization of women's free time. The possibilities of implementing educational reforms carried out in Uzbekistan within the framework of a joint project were also discussed in detail.

  We hope that by working together as a single team to implement future plans within the framework of the international project, we will achieve a number of success and all these ongoing efforts will give its positive results.
